The Match : Manu and Villareal have ensured there place in the next round of the champions league with a less than eventfull put productive 0-0 draw. Both teams seemed to match eachother in every part of the pitch with one portuguese winger stealing the game or performance. He showed his status as one of the best in the world with his brilliant left foot volley at the end of the first half . His overall team and ball play was top draw and ill be suprised if united havn't found the next best thing in world football.
For Villarreal even though he is getting on, Robert Pires is still alive and kicking after practically controling the midfield with knowledge and experience. Between the two teams I do think Manutd will progress furthur however Villarreal are one of those teams that can come good at any time.

The Match :

It was a frustrating match at Celtic park last night. Manchester United hoped to complete the double over celtic after winning at old trafford but it obviously was'nt to be. United, I think outplayed celtic in all areas of the pitch but we couldn't turn our possesion into goals. MCDONALD's goal was a beauty, he had control, composure and placement all in one movement resulting in a lightly lobbed ball over keeper Ben Foster, who apart from conceeding had a good game. It was'nt until the 84th minute where United broke through celtic's strong and experienced defence with RYAN GIGGS' rebound header from a powerfull swerving effort from Ronaldo.

Overall the result does'nt tell the complete story of the game, United with the full control over the game should have won but Celtic do deserve the point after their brilliant defence which showed togetherness and heart within the team.
